Hasan Kalyoncu University Faculty of Communication organised an inter-university student ‘Poster Design’ competition on “100th YEAR OF OUR REPUBLIC AND CULTURAL HERITAGE”.
A total of 74 designs competed in the competition, which started on 10.10.2023 and ended on 02.11.2023. The students who ranked and won the right to exhibit their designs were Prof. Dr. Selçuk Hünerli, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tülay Karadayı Yenice, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selçuk Hünerli, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selçuk Hünerli, Assoc. Assoc. Dr Batu Duru were determined by the competition juries.
In the ‘Poster Design’ competition, a total of four students ranked first, second, third and honourable mention, and the designs of 16 students were entitled to be exhibited.
The Award Ceremony of the competition was held on 10 November with the programme flow. Hasan Kalyoncu University Rector Prof. Dr. Türkay Dereli, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. G. Rengin Küçükerdoğan, Vice Rector Mehmet Lütfi Yola, jury members, academicians and students attended the ceremony. After the award ceremony, the exhibition opening of the inter-university student ‘Poster Design’ competition on “100th YEAR OF OUR REPUBLIC AND CULTURAL HERITAGE” was held.
Berkay Ellek from Hasan Kalyoncu University Department of Visual Communication Design won the first prize with his design titled “Republic in its 100th Year”, Özgür Hünel from Ankara Hacı Bayram Velı̇ University Graduate School of Graduate Studies Department of Graphic Design won the second prize with his design titled “Always Forward”, Kenan Yiğit from Mı̇mar Sı̇nan University of Fine Arts Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Graphic Design won the third prize with his design titled “Cultural Heritage in the 100th Cultural Heritage in the 100th Year”, and Alper Bulut from Ege University Institute of Educational Sciences, Department of Painting and Drawing Education received the honourable mention award with his design titled “This is how we won the Republic!”.
